Imagine a walled Italian style garden with a historic manor as the backdrop set within the city limits of Nashville, TN. Built in 1867, East Ivy Mansion is one of Nashville’s most prominent gems with mature Japanese maples, pristinely manicured gardens all set around an Art Deco style pool. This Southern Summer garden wedding had all the Southern charm of a Tennessee estate wedding.
Hues of emerald green, navy, gold and accents of peach were the inspiration for this Summer garden soiree. Emerald envelopes gave the invitations just the right contrast for the pops of peach florals. The florals were a celebration of early Summer sporting voluptuous blush peonies and playful peach tulips. Pale pink garden roses and emerald greenery perfectly tied the decor and design elements together. The groom wore a peach ranunculus boutonniere tied with navy silk ribbon.
The head table had a lush classic emerald green garland with pops of floral accents in hues of peach, blush and ivory. The reception tables had a more eclectic feel with a mixture of low and lush arrangements of petally blooms among sweet and simple bud vases. String lights adorned the Southern garden wedding reception space as guests enjoyed a scrumptious meal by the pool and garden catered by Dream Events and Catering as they danced the night away.
