Lindsey’s August wedding at the Cordelle in Nashville, TN was full of surprises, thoughtful details, and intimate moments. Alex Cantrell of The New Eclectic perfectly communicated Lindsey’s unique vision and together, we brought it to life with lots of texture, disco balls, and a funky dance floor installation.
For Lindsey’s modern Nashville wedding, she wore a simple and sophisticated white silk dress, while bridesmaids wore dresses in hues true to Summer of rust, marigold, and brown. For the ceremony, we dotted the cedar hedges with a floral installation of white flowers for a “polka dot” effect. The aisle was marked with simple clear glass jars filled with pampas grass that contrasted the black Havelock chairs. Her bouquet was all white with lush petally white blooms and no greenery for a modern feel.
The bride wanted guests to feel welcomed, special and ultimately led to the dance floor. Farm tables were simplistic in floral design, with accents of pampas grass, lush warm candles, and palm leaves at each place setting. Hand made napkins dressed each setting, among a neutral palette with accents of earth tones.
The dance floor was accentuated with silver sparkly disco balls that were framed by a wild tropical floral installation that felt it was growing up from the ground. The floral installation was full of wild vines, palm leaves, pampas grass and dried, textural elements.
As guests were welcomed to the dance floor, Lindsey donned her large, bloomy flower crown of white and danced the night away!
