Julia + Doug wed on a beautiful Spring day in the rolling hills of Nashville, TN. Their destination garden wedding gathered guests from far away places to celebrate under the stars on the pastures of an Antebellum mansion. Ravenswood Mansion provided the perfect setting to say their vows and dance the night away.
Their Southern inspired wedding day was filled with lush florals in hues of lavender, mauve, blush pink with blooms of peonies, sweet peas, hellebore, garden roses, clematis and columbine. Wild florals danced down guest tables, creating a feeling of a growing garden. The head table had an eclectic mix of varying sized arrangements mimicking potted herbs and florals for an overgrown garden feel.
The bridesmaids wore pale lavender gowns and each carried a simple bundle of locally grown orlaya, tied with ivory silk ribbon from Tono + Co. A farm to table dinner was served under a clear tent, complete with ribbons of string lights that created the perfect warm and romantic ambiance.
